QuakeFYI does not collect personal data, does not require user accounts, and does not sell or share any information with third parties. We use minimal analytics to understand how our site is used and to improve the experience.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

  • No names, email addresses, or contact information
  • No user accounts or login credentials
  • No payment or financial information
  • No precise geolocation data (coordinates entered in tools are processed server-side and not stored)

2. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website usage patterns. This helps us improve content and identify which features are most useful. Google Analytics collects:

  • Pages visited and time spent on site
  • Referring website or search engine
  • Device type, browser, and operating system (anonymized)
  • Approximate geographic region (country/city level, not precise location)

Google Analytics data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. IP addresses are anonymized before processing.

QuakeFYI uses a minimal number of cookies:

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to retain or delete. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default settings (14 months) and cannot be traced back to individual users.

QuakeFYI is an educational resource suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
