Die Richter-ähnliche Magnitudenskala misst die Energiefreisetzung bei Erdbeben. Jede ganzzahlige Erhöhung entspricht etwa dem 31,6-fachen der Energie.

Noticeable shaking of indoor objects. Rarely causes significant damage.
