The bundled structure — requiring earthquake insurance to be attached to fire insurance — ensures that any homeowner who renews their fire policy is automatically prompted to consider earthquake coverage. The simplified, transparent claims settlement methodology also builds trust by providing clear expectations about what policyholders will receive.
